1. It was built in 1920 on a 3,914 square meters property. The building size in total is 1,138.10 square meters. In time, the building changed ownership several times until 1992, when the building was legitimated as Proklamasi Museum.
2. The building was a home to Admiral Tadashi Maeda. He was the Head of Japanese Navy and Army Communicator at the time when Japan ruled in Indonesia. This house was also the place where Soekarno and Hatta designed the formulation of Proclamation Script.
3. Munasprok or Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi (the Museum of Proclamation Script Formulation) is the other name for this museum.
4. This museum has 4 rooms. The first room is guest reception room as well as the office of Admiral Maeda. The second room is a place where Soekarno and other figures held a meeting to formulate the Proclamation Script. The third room is the place where Soekarno signed the Proclamation Script. The last room is used to place the objects and figures that attended the signing of the Proclamation Script.
5. At the back of the museum there is a secret bunker that belonged to the Admiral Maeda with size of 5 x 3 x 1,5 meters. This bunker is now a place to store valuable objects of Admiral Maeda when he was still the owner of the property.
