Sophisticated capsule hotels are not only found in Japan, but in Indonesia too. You can find the futuristic capsule hotel in the Departure Area of Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang.
In each capsule room, there are qualified facilities such as high-quality mattress and pillow, the latest multimedia equipment, charging ports, reading lamp, and air conditioning. And of course bathrooms and toilets for men and women.

The hotel named Digital Airport Hotel is not the first and only capsule hotel at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Previously, in 2018, a similar hotel was built at Terminal 3.
President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin said Digital Airport Hotel is an effort to implement the Smart Airport concept that prioritized practicality for travelers.
"The trend of traveling, especially for travelers who want to take a vacation is practicality, therefore we also try to simplify a number of services," explained Awaluddin. "Among them are self-check-in, self-baggage drop, Digital Airport Hotel, iMate Lounge, transport facilities such as Skytrain, and so on," he added.
Digital Airport Hotel, both in Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, is managed by PT Capsule Indonesia. Managing Director of PT Capsule Indonesia Rudi Josano said demand for Digital Airport Hotel at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is quite high. Furthermore, Rudi revealed that the different ambiance of Digital Airport Hotel is also the main attraction because they present an atmosphere like staying in space.
"The occupancy rate of a capsule hotel in Terminal 3 is quite high, reaching around 70%, because it is now we built Digital Airport Hotel in Terminal 2 to accommodate the demand for capsule hotels with modern facilities," he explained.
Capsule room in Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport are rented from Rp 280,000 for 6 hours, Rp 305,000 for 9 hours, and Rp 350,000 for full day.
Meanwhile, there will also be a sleeping pod rental at Terminal 2. This will be the first at airports in Indonesia. As well as being the most modern facilities with the latest technology aimed for travelers to rest in a short time.
